Video call with our Ukrainian partners

Last week, we held our first video call with our Ukrainian partners at Lesky Lyceum as part of our British Council 'Reading for Pleasure' project. Students had the opportunity to introduce themselves, and our partners taught AMVC students essential greetings in Ukrainian.

This was followed by an exchange of traditional recipes, during which students read aloud recipes for dishes from each of our cultures and explained when and how they are usually enjoyed. Earlier in the project, our Ukrainian partners also sampled some typical British chocolates sent as a gift from our students.
The meeting was a great success, and we are already looking forward to our next video call!
