Delivering learning for life within an aspirational culture

Sixth Form Culture Day: Friday 7 November 2025

Our fabulous Culture and Diversity Committee worked hard to put together a busy programme for the Sixth Form Culture Day, which took place on Friday 7 November 2025, to celebrate culture and diversity within our Sixth Form.

This was a non-uniform day where we encouraged Sixth Form students to wear clothing which represents who they are and their culture.

During both breaks and in the afternoon in the Sixth Form Centre, students ran running stalls including:
· Henna
· Face painting
· Waist bead making
· Temporary tattoos
· Origami
· A pin map to identify where students’ cultures derive from

Across both breaktimes, students also had the opportunity to sample a range of cultural culinary delights.  Students were invited to bring in food from their culture (shop bought or homemade).

During Periods 5 and 6, all Sixth Form students watched our Culture Catwalk where students celebrated who they are and had the opportunity to tell others about their heritage and traditions.
