Future Students Receive Warm Welcome at Transition Event
On Monday afternoon, Arthur Mellows Village College welcomed students from smaller schools who will be joining the college in September. The event provided a valuable opportunity for both students and their parents to meet key staff members, ask questions, and gather important information ahead of the new school year.
The afternoon also allowed the incoming students to get to know each other and share any concerns they may have about the transition to secondary school. Sixth Form students played a key role in the event, leading engaging "get to know you" activities, giving guided tours of the college, and offering friendly advice based on their own experiences.
Staff were delighted by the enthusiasm and positivity of the visiting pupils. We are very much looking forward to welcoming them again on Move-Up Day and working with them in September.
