Claire has worked with us many times over the years to teach our students the importance of railway safety. Arthur Mellows' location is near to a number of major railway routes (and regional branch lines), this means that raising awareness is vital as many of our student use rail crossings on a daily basis.

With close to 60 students signed up to participate, it was a tense competition, filled with excellent displays of skills and tactics. Year 7 started the competition on the 22nd, with some very close and intense matches. They handled the competition with a great deal of maturity and respect for one another. The final matches between the Year 7s took place on 23rd and resulted in Charlie Brammer (7HGR) as the overall winner for Year Group.

1.     Present their Archaeology project to a team of professional engineers
2.     Demonstrate how they successfully built and coded their robot
3.     Complete a teamwork challenge to find buried artifacts
4.     Competed in four robot challenge games on the FLL mat
