Oxbridge Success – Summer 2019
Arthur Mellows Village College is celebrating an outstanding set of achievements from a truly amazing group of students. For the first time in the history of Arthur Mellows, 31% of students achieved A*/A grades which is simply phenomenal. The students’ dedication, hard work and commitment, coupled with the support and guidance of the staff have enabled so many of the students to go on to prestigious universities and employment.
The Sixth Form particularly celebrate the outstanding achievement of our Oxbridge and Medic students who were able to secure themselves places at their dream Universities. We have seen:
• Louise Collinson who achieved 4 A*s go on to read Biochemistry at Oxford University
• Esme Robinson reading Geography at Oxford University
• Ben Milner reading Law at Cambridge University.
In addition to this, four of our students will also read Medicine at some of the top universities in the country:
• Luis Turner begins his studies at Lincoln University
• Clark McDonald at Birmingham University
• Roanne Causey at Leeds University
• Dev Modvhadia at Anglia Ruskin University
