Year 9 Options

We will be holding a Year 9 Options Parent / Carer Information Evening on Monday 19 January 2026 from 5.30 pm – 7.30 pm.

There will be two main talks in the Main Hall:

Talk 1 from 5.30 pm to 6.00 pm for students who are presently studying French in Year 9

Talk 2 from 6.15 pm to 6.45 pm for students who are presently studying Spanish in Year 9

Below is a list of Year 9 Options dates you should be aware of, to help support students and parents / carers:

December 2025: Year 9 Options Booklet distributed to parents / carers.

Monday 19 January 2026: Year 9 Options Information Evening for parents / carers and students.

Tuesday 20 January 2026: Year 9 online Options Form to be sent to parents / carers.

Week commencing Monday 19 January 2026: In registration, students will have 1:1s with their tutors to discuss their choices ahead of making their decisions.

Friday 23 January 2026: Year 10 Induction Day for students.

Monday 2 February 2026: Online Year 9 Teacher Feedback Event (further discussions available with your child’s Class Teachers).

Friday 6 February 2026: Deadline for online Year 9 Options form to be submitted.

July 2026: Options confirmed to student.
