Year 11 Leavers
Thursday 22 May 2025 will be the last day for Year 11 students and when study leave commences. After this date, the Year 11 timetable will be suspended, and students will only be required to return to take their exams. School uniform must be worn for exams and normal rules are to be observed whenever students are on site. Please could you remind your child to bring their ID card with them for all exams.
During study leave, any student who must remain on site between exams due to transport arrangements, will undertake silent revision and will have the use of Refectory 2. All students must sign in and out of College using the signing in sheets at Student Reception. Any student who has accessed the Personal Learning (PL) room in Year 11 will not be able to do so during study leave, as it will be reallocated to the Year 10 students.
YEAR 11 CELEBRATION DAY
We look forward to welcoming Year 11 students on site to celebrate finishing the exams on Friday 20 June 2025 from 8.40 am until 12.00 noon.
This morning will be a chance for students to celebrate their time here at AMVC, say goodbyes and receive Hoodies / Yearbooks from the Year 11 Team. Mrs Warrington and Mr Moffat have put together a morning of activities for the students to enjoy.
YEAR 11 YEARBOOK

This will grant students access to order the Yearbook. The cost of the Yearbook is £13.59. The final day to log on to order a Yearbook will be Friday 2 May 2025, after which the order form will close. A separate email has been sent out with these details.
RETURN OF BOOKS
As exams are finished for individual subjects, students should ensure all textbooks have been returned to the various departments. I am sure you will appreciate how important it is in these times of financial constraint that all books are returned. A Year 11 student may have anything up to £100.00 worth of books.
LOCKER KEYS
All Year 11 students are asked to hand in their locker key to Student Reception. All locker keys must be returned by Friday 20 June 2025. If your child is considering returning to the Sixth Form in September, please note that Sixth Form students are allocated different lockers so they cannot use a Year 11 locker in Year 12. All keys should, therefore, be returned.
YEAR 11 PROM
You will be aware that the Year 11 Prom this year takes place on Friday 11 July 2025 at Peterborough Marriott Hotel for invited students. The Prom will start at 7.00 pm and finishes at 11.30 pm. The deadline for payments has closed for this event.
EXAM RESULTS
Results day this year is Thursday 21 August 2025, and results will be available from the college between 8.30 am and 10.30 am.
