Staff vs Student Netball Match - Friday 20 March 2026
Thursday 20 March 2026 saw our first students vs staff sports event.
Under the spring sunshine during first lunchtime we had two staff teams play Netball against a Year 10 and Sixth Form team. It was a great occasion and enjoyed by everyone.
A number of students involves stated how nice it was to see staff interacting with them and can they be involved in the future. A trend has been set! Lots of students came to cheer them on.
The student netball teams consisted of county netball players and the quality of some the games was unreal at times.
The staff split into two teams and both played competitively.
But it was the PE team, also consisting of Mr Wilson and Mr Thurgood though who came up on top. Winning against the Sixth Form team and drawing against the Year 10 county team.
Well done to everyone who took part.
