Musical Production: ‘Our House’

Following on from our very successful production of Arabian Nights last year, we will be back at the Key Theatre on 17, 18 and 19 March (Thursday – Saturday) with our production of “Our House” which features the music of Madness.  Songs include Our House, I’ve been driving in my Car, Baggy Trousers, Last Boat to Cairo, It must be Love etc.

The show tells the story of a teenage boy, Joe, and the consequences of a decision he makes on his 16th birthday. Having broken into a building site to show his girlfriend the view of the estate his grandfather helped build, the police arrive and Joe must choose whether to run away, or stay and face the music. We see the consequences of both decisions as Joe splits into Good Joe and Bad Joe and we follow both storylines.  The show when performed in the West End won the Olivier award for best musical in 2001.

Tickets are available from the Key Theatre Box Office at £8.50 and £6 concessions.
