Peterborough Teaching School hosts ‘Women in Education’ Conference

The Greater Peterborough Teaching School Alliance, along with Arthur Mellows Village College, hosted the very first #WomenEd Coach Meet on Wednesday 20 June 2018.  The aim being to promote the Department for Education’s ‘Women Leading in Education’ coaching project and encourage women from all over the city, at any stage in their career, to network and coach.

The event had two keynote speakers: Julie Taylor, CEO of the Thomas Deacon Education Trust and Caroline Boreham, the DfE Regional Lead for School Improvement.

Attendees were inspired and entertained by words of advice, wisdom and motivation.  They left, hoping for more events and networking opportunities.  For information about future events, please contact Kate Lewis at Arthur Mellows Village College.
